Speak to a specialistUnder continuous exposure, the Falcon Premium Snap-On typically lasts 12 to 18 months. Service life depends on wind exposure, UV, and site conditions.
For CAA-licensed aerodromes, we recommend annual replacement regardless of visible condition. Our records show most industrial sites replace at 18 to 24 months.
CAA CAP 168 specifies a minimum 3.6 metre (12 ft) windsock at licensed aerodromes. The Falcon 12 ft Premium Snap-On meets this requirement.
The 4 ft and 7 ft sizes are suitable for helipads, industrial sites, smaller private airfields and DSEAR-regulated installations where a smaller indicator is appropriate.
The Snap-On attachment fits the Falcon SA-1 standard and heavy-duty swivel arms directly. It will also fit most UK and EU manufactured swivel arms with an M10 bolt-on fixing and a 25 mm pole diameter.
If you're replacing a non-Falcon windsock and want us to verify compatibility, send us a photograph of the mounting and we'll confirm before you order.

We stock the Falcon SA-1 swivel arm in standard and heavy-duty variants. Masts are not something we manufacture, but we recommend pairing the Falcon SA-1 with standard 25 mm or 50 mm galvanised steel poles available from any industrial fabricator.
If you need a complete installation, we can quote for the mast, swivel arm and windsock as a package.
